Who We are
THE REVEREND Nell Archer
Ordained to the priesthood in the Episcopal Church in 2010, Nell is the Vicar of Bushwick Abbey and Iglesia de la Santa Cruz. A member of Diocesan Council since 2017, she also serves on the steering committee for The Creation Care Community, the LGBTQ+ working group, and the Latino Commission in the Diocese.
She lives with her wife Nancy, her three children Coley, Ward, and Nora and their rambunctious dog, Biscuit, in Carroll Gardens where she enjoys gardening, reading historical fiction, listening to music and setting out on the occasional run.
VINCE ANDERSON
Vince Anderson is Minister of Music and Community Arts at Bushwick Abbey, and a founding member. He and his band, “The Love Choir” have played every Monday night (recently on Instagram) for almost 25 years. He has set the book of Psalms to music, and has composed much of the service music used at Bushwick Abbey.
He is an avid Mets fan, house plant enthusiast, and vinyl collector. He lives up the road in Ridgewood, Queens with his wife, Millicent and their dog, Hudson and their cat, Newt.
